A total of thirteen research proposals were submitted by Latin American institutions in cooperation with Red MERCOSUR?s centers. Ten proposals complied with the formal requirements and were evaluated by three external referees (Mauricio Mesquita Moreira, Jose Antonio Ocampo, and Fernando Porta).
