With the objective of analyzing the central questions concerning Latin America?s position regarding climate change, in the framework of the preparations for the climate change summit in Copenhagen, MercoNet organized a workshop which took place in November 2009 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The event focused on the economic implications of the physical impacts of this process, and the repercussions in international negotiations for the region.
